To determine whether the upregulation of circ0000381 may affect microglial/macrophage pyroptosis after SCI, we performed double immunofluorescence staining for Iba-1, labeling both microglia and macrophages in the spinal cord with different pyroptosis markers including NLRP3, caspase-1, GSDMD, and IL1β. Compared with the sham group, fluorescence signal intensities in microglia/macrophages were significantly increased at 7 days post-SCI in the SCI group (Figure 3).
