Abstract: Alzheimer’s disease (AD) represents the most common form of dementia and is characterized by a progressive decline of cognitive functions. Complex multifactorial processes underlie AD pathophysiology, including amyloid-beta (Aβ) toxicity, tau protein hyperphosphorylation, synaptic dysfunction, oxidative stress, and neuroinflammation (Ju and Tam, 2022).
